 In 2005 "Northeast Current" was honored with a Silver Telly Award for an episode featuring Stand for Children and Larry Loh, music director of the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic.
In 2006, the "Northeast Current" team was honored with a Bronze Telly Award for "He Came from the Heavens," a musical Christmas special featuring the choir of Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Dunmore, PA.
The Salvation Army honored the "Northeast Current" team with thier Caring is Sharing Award in 2006 and again in 2007 for the their coverage and promotion of the Army's annual Christmas Kettle Campaign.
